Bangalore as I feel it

To describe in words about what I feel about bangalore, is an attempt filled with sweet memories of childhood. Bangalore was my ideal summer destination since childhood, a fairyland where I spent all my school vacations. The fairyland which brings in front of my eyes, my grandparents' old house at Jayanagar, Jayanagar 4th Block Shopping complex and the Softee icecream, the taste which has lasted in my heart for years; the new home of my uncle at Domlur, the MG Road of yester years where Barton center looked like a fantasy land; the chinmaya mission temple; and the list goes on.

Spending all the happy moments of childhood here have imprinted in my heart that bangalore is the place to settle down.

Dreams do come true to some fortunate ones and guess what? I am one of them. The thought of studying here intoxicated me with loads of those memories as I took admission to BE at CMRIT, Bangalore.

Then was the first time I experienced the 'changed Bangalore'.. the cosy granny's nest which now turned into a warfield of traffic, competition, opportunities, rising cost of living, and here too the list goes on.

A new comer to bangalore - especially the ones from the bigger metros might scorn my profound attachment to the garden city. I am just making an attempt to familiarze one and all to my 'fairy land'.
